A Rites of Passage Journey for Young Women
This is an opportunity for young teenage girls to take a journey that will light their path towards womanhood. We will spend time focusing on integrated themes and topics leading us towards a Rites of Passage initiation weekend.
Rites of Passage have been a traditional way to help people transition from one phase of life into another. It has been honored in cultures from around the world and throughout time. In our current time and culture it has become a rarity to provide young women with the tools to transition safely from childhood to adulthood.

OUR MISSION:
We are committed to offering young women, who have experienced their first moon cycle, a sacred space to join with female peers and mentors. We will all share in the preparation and celebration of stepping into their new identity, with courage and integrity. Our goal, is that they are ready to enter today's society as strong and confident young women.

A bit about the co-founders
We have been friends and co-workers for 5 years. We first met at the Austin Discovery School and currently work together at the Inside Outside School.
Our inspiration for creating this program was to give young women opportunities for growth that many of us did not encounter. What we can now offer as empowered women to young women coming into adulthood is; powerful female role models and mentors. We know the need and importance of co-creating avenues for young women to feel empowered and be given the space to truly dive within and know themselves.
