Summer 2016 Rite of Passage Journey June 22nd -26th
Rites of Passage Initiation Wednesday, June 22nd 10:00am - Sunday, June 26th at Noon
We will gather at Tierra Arbolita in Blanco, (1 hour West of Austin) on 300 acres of gorgeous Texas Hill Country. Drop off will be around 10am on Wednesday.
Classes will be on: caring for your body, intimate relationships, creating safe boundaries, expression through art, movement, and vision boarding, yoga and meditation for women, and more. We will also hold a series of rituals and rites that explore dance, creative expression, connection to nature, knowing and loving yourself, separation from previous identity, transition, and then a return for our sacred integration ceremony on Saturday evening. Sunday morning mothers/caretakers will be welcomed back for a mother-daughter blessing ceremony, and to witness the young women step into their new roles as young adults.
Fees and application
The program is 5 days and 4 nights. The cost includes payment for classes, healthy nourishing meals, lodging, and use of Tierra Arbolita (Wed-Sun). We are offering an early bird special of $550 to participants who complete the application and pay before April 15. Otherwise the cost is $650. Applications are due by June 1st with a $50 deposit to hold your spot. Space is limited and participation is on a first come first serve basis.
